ABOUT THE CLUB
Welcome to our website. The club was established in 2001 for local area 4x4 enthusiasts to get together and promote this fast growing sport. Meetings are held on the first Sunday of each month UNLESS notified differently. The meetings are to arrange different trail rides with other clubs and discuss our clubs events. To become a member one needs to fill out the application and when accepted pay the $30.00 club dues yearly. Only those paid will be included in the members rides section of this website. The club dues are to cover your Northern Lights insurance while participating in an event and club decal. Most of our events are done from March until October with the odd one during the Winter.
All members must be at a minimum of 17 years old and hold a valid G2 license. A vehicle of their own is not necessary as some of these younger drivers are current members children. An absolute "No Alcohol / Drug Rule" is stressed on the trails and during events . Any individual breaking this rule will be asked to leave the trail or event and his or her membership will be revoked with no refund. As you are aware it is a criminal offense to operate a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Members are from all surrounding areas and all walks of life. You do not have to be an experienced "Rockcrawler" or have an expensive "Mud Racer" to be in the club. The club was established to give all individuals the chance to go 4 Wheelin regardless of vehicle make. Some members chose to be all out Wheelers and others just enjoy going for the ride.
